In Noh Bo, a small village on the Thai-Burmese border, TYIN Tegnestue Arkitekter designed houses for Karen refugee children. Blending local skills and TYIN’s architectural knowledge, the buildings were named Soe Ker Tie Haus (“The Butterfly Houses”) by the workers because of their appearance.
