I’m just here for the pie today on #rotisserieweek! We’re cooking the easiest #ChickenPotPie #weeknightrecipes #quickrecipes #easymeals #simplecooking... | By Your Barefoot Neighbor | Way through rotisserieweek and today I'm just here for the pie. Amy nicely commented and gave us her version of Easy ChickenPotPie. I'm going to mix these two soups together. Now just to be double sure that our filling's nice and thick after it's cooked. I'm going to make a little cornstarch slurry. Anytime you make a cornstarch slurry it's going to be a ratio of one to two. One part cornstarch, two parts of whatever kind of liquid you're using. Now season this up however you like but I'm going to put in a little bit of chicken bouillon, some garlic powder, just a dash of sage. Can use whatever kind of vegetables you want but I got some of this veg all because it's got a little bit of everything. Drain your vegetables off. Two cups of rotisserie chicken. Layla's loving rotisserieweek. I decided I wanted some pepper in mine. Got two pie crusts here. They are fully thawed and they've been sitting out on the counter for about 20 minutes. I am notoriously bad at pie crusts. There we go. Our fillings going in. Looking good. I'm going to lightly press it down until it makes contact with that filling. Got a little bit of excess from that bottom pie crust so I'm going to press it together with the top one to seal it. I'm going to run my knife around the outside and just cut the excess off. Alright now we're just cutting a few little slits in the top. Like so. This part's optional but I'm going to do a little egg wash. Added just a little splash of water. Oven's preheated to 350 so we're going to cook it for about an hour. Hug dealer shirts are on sale till March 9th and a portion of all proceeds is going to go to Elijah's closet. After about twenty check on it and if the edges are nice and brown and you don't want those to cook too much more, make you a little shield to go over it. Just fold just some tin foil in four like that and then cut a circle out of the middle. I'll set this over the pie and it's going to keep those edges from getting too dark. She's real cute y'all. I'm going to let it stand for at least 10 minutes before we cut it. I don't think I've ever met a potpie I didn't like. Damn this is so good. The pie crust is nice and flaky and that inside's real creamy. We skipped making a reel on the stovetop and this only took about 10 minutes to assemble. There's a keeper right here. Y'all come get you a piece of this. I know somebody's going to ask so yes. I will have this pie pan in the clicky place.

Easy to make & packed with garlic and cheese!🧀 | Easy to make & packed with garlic and cheese! | By Brain Food | Hi, everybody. I hope you're having an awesome day. Today, I am making probably some of the cheesiest garlic bread you've ever seen. Um right now in a bowl, I've got three cups of mozzarella and each one of these bags is a two-cup bag. So, it's a bag and a half of those. Then, we're going to be adding some parmesan cheese which doesn't melt as good as the mozzarella but it's super super flavorful. And we're going to be adding just half a bag of that. Just like that. And to that mixture we're going to be adding one whole eight ounce brick of Parmesan cheese. That gets dumped right on in. Gonna add a couple of final flavorings. Everybody's favorite. Minced garlic. Just going to be adding a small spoonful of that. And then some Italian seasoning. About about two teaspoons worth. And then we're going to start blending this together I like using a whisk then my arms don't get quite as tired. And what we're making right now is a filling for this amazing garlic bread. And that's why it looks a little lumpy. It's not supposed to be super smooth or anything like that. Once we've got the first kind of mixed done, we're actually going to be adding even more garlic because this is a garlic bread. So, we're going to be adding another spoonful but I'm going to make a heaping one. Into this garlic bread filling mixture. Now the kitchen smells so much like garlic. Oh my goodness. Once that is all mixed together like that, let me turn this blender off before it goes haywire and we're going to go ahead and take all this filling out It's going to be a thick filling. So if it's too runny you probably need to add a little bit more regular cheese not the cream cheese. Okay. Let me set this aside. And let's talk about the bread. So, we're starting with the pan an entire pack of these Hawaiian sweet bread, the original ones. I'm going to put the whole thing right into your pan. Just like that. Super easy. Couldn't get any easier than that. Then you're going to take two spoons. Two spoons like that. And you're just going to make a crisscross. You're not going to go all the way in. All you're doing is making like a hole for the filling to go in. It's going to be so good. It's almost like a pull apart. Garlic bread. Not only is this going to make your kitchen smell amazing but people are going to be impressed when you bring this out to the table, I promise. Okay and now that we've made these little pockets for our filling, we are going to take our filling just like that and we're going to be shoving these right into the Hawaiian bread. Now remember this is just cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella, and some garlic and Italian seasoning. So it's going to melt and be so amazing when it comes out of the oven. This takes a little bit of time but completely worth it. And once you've actually shoved a spoonful inside each one, you're going to take the rest of the filling and you're going to cover the whole thing. For cheesy goodness. Just like that. So you've got little bit inside each one. Now, we're just going to smoosh out the rest of it all over. Seriously, this is such an easy garlic bread to make and it's looks so one fell out. Put that one right back in. And just kind of lock it into place like that. Got a little bit left. And then we've got one more step to add even more garlicky goodness to this bread. I promise this is going to be so good when it comes out of the oven. Just nothing but garlic and cheese and bread. Can't go wrong with any of that. Okay so that's all in there. Let me put this right back in the middle like that. And then our final step is I've got this is one stick of butter. So it's half a cup of butter that I've melted in the microwave. And then we're going to be adding even more garlic. To that Add a spoonful. And a little bit of garlic powder. And then for the last ingredient I'm going to add just a little bit of parsley so we can have a little bit of that green. Right on top. Maybe just a little bit more. Okay we're going to stir all this together. The garlic butter goodness. And then we're going to pour this over our bread. Then once this is done this is going to go into a 375 degree oven for like 15 minutes. Not very long at all. We'll be right back. We'll tear this part and see what it looks. Look at this. I just took it out out of the oven so I can't touch this pan because it's screaming hot. Um let me get this cheesy garlic bread made with Hawaiian rolls. Out of here. Remember we covered everything in that garlic butter afterwards so I know this is going to be so good. Hot. All that cheese is sticking together. Okay so put that in there. See? See the cream cheese and cheese and garlic on everything. This is only a date night dish if the other person is also having garlic. So Otherwise, they're going to be like, ooh, that's some garlicky garlicky's breath. I'm going to get a good chunk from the middle where the cheesy garlicky goodness is and give it a little taste test. It's a lot. It's it's very filling even with that one bite that I had it's just like cheesy garlicky and then the Hawaiian bread gives it like a little little tiny bit of sweetness I can see why this is a hit. Take another bite. This would be like really good next to like a plate of spaghetti, chili, anything like that. Man, that filling is so good. There's a part of me that thinks that you can take that filling recipe. Just bake it by yourself. Turn it in like a really really good dip. I would lift this up to show you better but I can't do that because it's like really really hot but yeah, try this recipe next time you have some Hawaiian rolls weighing around

Easy 1 Pan Texas Recipe!🥘 | Easy 1 Pan Texas Recipe | By Brain Food | Okay, you guys. We are going to do the most amazing hyped up, souped up cornbread casserole you've ever tasted in your whole life. I'm telling you, that boxed jiffy cornbread. Don't sleep on it. It is so good and then, you add that rotel tomato and then, you gotta add in that cream corn. Next thing in a all that moisture so it's fluffy you gotta mix that in super good and then what takes this up makes it a casserole is you gotta add your protein. You get some ground beef. You add it into it. Seriously. This makes it a whole meal. You gotta incorporate that well. Mix that up. Give it a good mix. A good mix. A good mix. So that was just regular ground beef. I didn't season it. I'm going to do that now. So you add your seasoning right here. Little taco packet. Love taco seasoning. Seriously it takes it up a notch. Add it in there. And then you just mix it well. Let's see you could stop there but I'm not going to stop there because to me I don't make a meal without a little adobo this is right here this is secret this is a secret to every single one of my recipes adobo just add it in give it a little mix just keep incorporating it in until everything. Man, all those spices from the mitts and the adobo. Okay, now I said it like my true Hispanic culture. Adobo. Goya. So, alright. Can't make a casserole. You know, you gotta have the cheese. Oh, yeah. So, put in about anywhere, anywhere from a half cup to a cup of cheese. Lower cheese please. Right. You can't go wrong with cheese. Alright. Measure with your heart, you know. That's about right. Imma go. Imma go with that. Mix it all up. Yes, it smells so good. Mmm. I can I can only imagine how ooey gooey, delicious this is going to be in just a little bit. Oh yeah. It's going to be so good. Okay. So, once this is all mixed up, there's no more dry, lumpy parts of that cornbread mix. Got it all incorporated. I'm going to move this to the side and I'm going to grab my trusty little casserole dish here. Cute. I already sprayed it down with a little bit of vegetable oil. I'm going to add in this deliciousness. Just plop it in there. Mmm It's going to be so good. Mm. Yes it is. Mm mm mm. Right here. Man, I'm excited about this. Don't miss any of it. You want to get all of it out of that bowl like that. Looks good. Okay so just like make sure it's all even distributed all over and then, I'm going to add just a little more of that ooey gooey goodness on top because it's going to add like a crust. Oh yeah. I'm telling you, it is delicious. Add that cheese. You can't go wrong with cheese. Go along with cheese. Alright. Whoo. It get can get crazy in the kitchen sometimes. Yeah. If you ain't making a mess in the kitchen, you ain't doing it right. Right? You know it. So, yes, my hands are washed so people, don't freak out, alright? You gotta get in there. Sometimes, you just gotta get in there, alright? Look at that. That already looks so good. Yeah. I'm excited about it. This is going to go into the oven for about 30 minutes or so. Gotta check it to make sure it's like set because you know that cornbread takes a little bit of time sometimes. It's about 400 degrees for start off about 30 minutes, maybe 40 minutes, but you know just stick a toothpick in it make sure it's all good and then enjoy it perfect oh my gosh you guys I'm so excited now this took a little longer to bake because this casserole dishes it like really deep but if you put it in nine by 13 it will be 30 minutes this took closer to an hour but that's okay it's going to be worth the wait I'm going to dig into this whoo it looks and smells so good you guys corn bread casserole but with a twist. All yummy and meaty and cheesy. It's going to be so good. Let me get this out. Layer. Yes. Put that right here. Whoa. Steaming. It's amazing. Grab a fork here real quick. Look at that. Wow. It looks so good. You can see all the colors, red, and corn. It's going to be so good. This is so hot you guys. I'm doing this for you because I can have a feeling. It's going to burn my mouth but I can't wait. I can't wait so I gotta taste it now. You guys, seriously. But it's like cheesy and sweet from the corner. And honestly there was like this cheesy crust on the top that said This is so good. There's a little bit of spiciness from the taco seasoning. Got a little bit of adobo to it. Y'all this is it right here. Go make it.
